The company's imprints - Elevate, Elevate Faith, and Elevate Fiction - offer clients the platforms specific to their stories and the content they wish to share. Way more than just a publishing house, Elevate is a nimble, elite team that always gets the job done right.

ROLE AS MARKETING/PR INTERN

​

I was in charge of all publicity outreach, including: compiling targeted media contact lists via Cision, creating press kits, drafting email pitches, and developing relationships with journalists, editors, publishers, etc. I maintained daily communication with authors to build their platforms and book launches. Additionally, I was responsible for Elevate social media updates, book pitches, review follow-ups and creative direction of book campaigns. Although I began with Elevate as the marketing/public relations intern, I soon took over as digital publicist when the position opened up unexpectedly. This switch required a fair amount of self-teaching, research, and innovative thinking each week. I was able to gain experience and develop relationships with authors that I would not have, had I not stepped into this role when required.
